One
of the most rewarding opportunities available through
F.L.O.C.K. is to provide a temporary home for cats
and kittens seeking lifelong homes. We
always need suitable foster homes for our rescued
cats and kittens.
How It Works
Cats
must be fostered until they are ready for adoptions.
We must ensure they're spayed or neutered, are up-to-date
on their vaccinations and are in overall good health.
Fostering
also gives us a great chance to assess a cat's personality.
This is very helpful when it comes time to find them
an appropriate home.
We
often get mother cats with kittens that need foster
homes until the kittens are a suitable age for adoption.
Some
of our foster parents are able to foster only one
cat or kitten, while some are able to foster more.
Only you know what's best for you and the cats in
your care.

F.L.O.C.K.
pays for medical care for all fostered cats and kittens.
Foster parents are asked to cover care and feeding
expenses and provide receipts for tax credit.
Foster
a Cat or Kitten Today
Please
consider opening your home to a cat or kitten in need.
We sometimes are unable to help cats because we don't
have enough foster parents available.
It's
a big responsibility, but fostering also provides
infinite rewards. Drop
us a line to foster a cat or kitten. These adorable
creatures need your home, your help and your love.
Of course, there are many ways to get involved with
our efforts. Take a look at our other rewarding volunteer
opportunities.
